If you are planning a trip to the Caribbean for a vacation or honeymoon, you need to know about hurricane season in the Caribbean.  If you know when hurricane season  is in the Caribbean, you can plan your trip accordingly. Hurricane season in the Caribbean is from officially from June to November. Six months out of the year is a long time, but the “prime time” for hurricanes is usually August, September and October.

So when we talk about hurricane season in the Caribbean, most locals mean the period August - October.  That is the worst time which simply means that  more than likely a hurricane will happen between August and October, but it could possibly happen earlier or later. more…
